A new era is set to begin for Victoria’s Secret, as Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has reportedly ended her contract with the lingerie retailer.

Gisele’s sister, Patricia Bundchen, confirmed to Brazilian Website Glamurana that contract talks had broken off. Already the highest paid model in the world, Gisele quit as the lingerie line’s leading ‘Angel’ after the company refused to boost her current annual salary of $5 million.

Gisele’s Non-Smoking Weight Gains

Not too long ago, rumor had it that Gisele Bundchen was pregnant with boyfriend Tom Brady’s baby. Those claims were quickly labeled as untrue, with the reason behind the mix-up now coming to light.

The extra bump in Gisele’s tummy that sparked the claims just so happened to be the 15 lbs she’d put on since quitting her smoking habit. The Brazilian supermodel noted that she’s enjoying food so much more since kicking her nicotine addiction… it’s hard not to gain weight.

Gisele Bundchen has quashed reports that her and NFL star Tom Brady have a child on the way. The stunning model said a family would have to wait for her work.

“It’s crazy how people can make up these stories.  I’m not pregnant and I’m not planning to be pregnant anytime soon. I have so many contracts to do, so many projects,” the Brazilian beauty said on TVE’s Corazon de Primavera.

The word is, Gisele might be over two months pregnant, according to reports on a popular Brazilian celebrity website. The site’s claim was picked up and reported by ESPN sports television, so it may just have some truth to it.

DiCaprio and Bundchen Still Pals, Despite Tom Brady

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen is still good friends with her ex, Leonardo DiCaprio, despite being in a new relationship with football star Tom Brady.

Bundchen began dating Brady just before Christmas, but refuses to cut ties with DiCaprio, who she dated for six years. One reason… she formed a close friendship with the Academy Award winning actor’s family throughout the years.

When asked in an interview about her former beau, Gisele said: “Leo and I are still good friends. He’s an amazing person and I love his family. I wish him the best.”
