MuchMusic Awards: A Canadian Party

Those crazy Canadians sure can throw a party!  With celebrity appearances by Avil Lavigne, Hilary Duff, Tara Reid, Joss Stone and Fergie, the MuchMusic Video Awards was a star-studded event.

Unlike most awards shows, the MuchMusic Video Awards took place outdoors, in a carnival-esque atmosphere.  The stages were lined with fans waiting to get a glimpse of Maroon 5, Sum 41, and Canadian sweetheart Avril Lavigne.

Houston Loves Fergie

Pop stars have always been part of successful advertising campaigns.  Verizon Wireless knows this first hand.  Their association with The Black-Eyed Peas’ Fergie took off to a whole new level yesterday (June 4).

Fergie showed up in Houston, Texas to kick off a two-day Verizon Wireless multimedia whirlwind.  She’s booked to play the Verizon Wireless Theater tonight, but showed up early yesterday to sign autographs and perform three of her songs.

Fergie Likes David Beckham, Loves Robbie Williams

With the two recently being introduced in Los Angeles, Fergie now wants to record a duet with new friend Robbie Williams. The Black Eyed Peas singer told OK! magazine: “I would love to work with him. I think he has an amazing talent. He’s definitely special.”

During the interview, Fergie also mentioned that she has taken a liking to the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team ever since David Beckham agreed to join them and can’t wait for Becks and Posh to arrive in the States.

Black Eyed Peas singer, and solo force to be reckoned with, Fergie is coming out about her past.  Apparently, the singer has admitted to having a series of lesbian relationships.

Fergie revealed that she rebelled against her parents and her strict Catholic upbringing when she turned 18.  She was tired of being so sheltered.  As a result, wild sex and drug binges ensued.

Drunk Fergie Barred From Flight

Black-Eyed Pea, Fergie (Stacy Ferguson), got the boot before she could even board her plane. The singer arrived at the airport intoxicated and in no condition to do much of anything, let alone fly.

Apparently Fergie, accompanied by bandmates will.i.am, Apl.de.ap, and Taboo, were headed to the UK until airport staff informed her that she could not board the flight in her current condition.
