Christina Ricci Premieres “Speed Racer”

The stars were out in Los Angeles last night, attending the world premiere of “Speed Racer” at the Nokia Theatre.

Among those hitting the red carpet were the movie’s star Christina Ricci, along with fellow Tinseltown hotties Emmy Rossum and Minka Kelly.

Meester, Mendes Among MET Opening Night Stars

Last night was a big one over at the Lincoln Center in New York City.  The Metropolitan Opera held its Opening Night Gala, and the stars were definitely out in force.

Gossip Girl Leighton Meester (did you see the new episode last night?!) showed up looking stunning in a gold notched-top frilly-belted strapless/sleeveless dress with matching heels and a killer updo.

Emmy Rossum Gets Charitable

When it comes to doing her part for a good cause, Emmy Rossum is all about helping out.  And she added a little extra charm to the 14th Annual Practical Magic Ball in New York City last night.

The “Day After Tomorrow” babe was spotted mingling with the guests at the gussied-up Cipriani on 42nd.  The event itself expected to raise over $1 million for the charity by way of private donations, as well as a silent auction.

Stylish Stars Hit Grammy Nomination Ceremony

It looks like Taylor Swift made a new friend yesterday at the Grammy Awards Nomination Ceremony.  She and Black Eyed Pea Fergie seemed pretty up close and personal.

And they both looked fabulous.  The “My Humps” singer showed up in a black dress with a black leather coat and some crazy knee-high boots.  She’s hoping to add to her Grammy collection (she already has three!).

Movies Rock Draws Out the Stars

Last night was a big one for the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.  The who’s who of Hollywood Celebrities were in the house for the filming of Movies Rock, a night celebrating the role of music in cinema.

Fergie took to the stage like a pro, and sang (classic James Bond tune) “Live and Let Die” while suspended in the air.  Upon her arrival at the event, she told press she’d love to be a Bond girl, but she doesn’t have time.  “I’m so busy, they’d have to kill me off early in the film so that I can do all the other projects I’m committed to.”
