Despite Injury, David Beckham Still Has “The Touch”

David Beckham’s highly anticipated debut with the Los Angeles Galaxy against Chelsea is said to be in doubt after Becks’ ankle injury limited his ability to get much of a practice in during his first training session yesterday (July 16). What isn’t in doubt is what we like to call “The Beckham Touch.”

According to ESPN, “The ankle swelled up during the flight from London to Los Angeles last Thursday and despite a weekend of massage and treatment, Beckham could not take a full part in Galaxy’s open training session at the Home Depot Center last night in front of around 2,000 fans.”

Victoria Beckham Wastes No Time Speaking Her Mind

With all the fanfare and pomp associated with David and Victoria Beckham’s move to America, the former Spice Girl spent her first week here in the States showing Americans some serious attitude via attacking Eddie Murphy.

In a move of questionable taste, the usually proper Posh publicly spoke her mind about the Norbit star’s treatment of her Spice Girls partner, Mel B.  Earlier this year there was a dispute over whether or not Murphy was the father of Mel’s child.  And weeks later, there was biological evidence proving Mel’s claim of the actor’s paternity. 

David Beckham Gets Warm LA Galaxy Welcome

David and Victoria Beckham spent their first day in the States being welcomed by 5,000 soccer enthusiasts during a press conference introducing Becks as the newest member of the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team.

Wearing a stylish gray suit, David smiled before telling his fans, “I’d like to say how honored I am that so many people have come here to see me presented today.”

It’s Time… For the Beckhams!

The wait is over.  For the eagerly anticipating American fans of David and Victoria Beckham, you may now consider yourself fellow residents of the United States with Britain’s hottest exports.

David and Victoria, along with their three sons; Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz left London yesterday, setting sail for America.  And as they assimilate into the new country and culture, Vic will most definitely have to deal with the American women lusting after her hot soccer stud husband. 

Victoria Beckham “Needs More Personality”

While most of the non-America World knows Victoria Beckham as a fashion icon, designer, and the beautiful wife of soccer stud David Beckham, people in the US may only know her as Posh Spice.

And in order for that to change, Victoria is hoping to prove herself as more than just another pretty face.  She’s got quite a task, though.  “She is coming over here as a mega-star and there is all this buzz, but Americans are curious to know why,” said Melanie Bromley of Us Weekly.
