Taking full advantage of the beautiful weather yesterday (August 3rd), Christie Brinkley enjoyed some time on the water with her children.

In the wake of a nasty public divorce trial, it’s no wonder the 54-year-old supermodel is all about chilling out and relaxing at the “Float Festival 08” at Shelter Island, near Long Island, New York.

Christie Brinkley Divorce: A New Start

As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, an agreement was reached this morning as to the divorce settlement between Christie Brinkley and ex-husband Peter Cook.  And the beautiful blonde supermodel couldn’t be happier with the results.

Brinkley called the settlement “a very bittersweet moment,” adding, “It really is the death of a marriage, but it’s also I think a new start for all of us and I’m very pleased with the results today.”

Christie Brinkley Gets Full Child Custody

After a long night of intense negotiation, Christie Brinkley and her adulterous ex-hubby Peter Cook have finally reached an agreement in regards to the custody of their two children.

The nasty divorce trial between the parted pair has been going on for a little over a week now, and a settlement was finally reached at 6:15 am on Thursday (July 10).

Another Hard Day for Christie Brinkley

Ever since her divorce trial began last week, Christie Brinkley has been put through the emotional ringer.  And today was no exception.

The gorgeous supermodel arrived early this morning for another day in court, looking stylish as always in a pink blouse, white cardigan, khaki skirt and muted pink heels.  Once inside, she took the stand to testify to the “nightmare” she was forced to face at the hands of her soon-to-be ex-husband.

It’s a scenario no one looks forward to.  And as she arrived at the first day of her divorce trial this morning (July 2), Christie Brinkley appeared devastated.

The 54-year-old supermodel sported a white button-up shirt and a belted khaki skirt as she exited her car clinging to the arm of her lawyer and looking to be on the verge of tears.
