It’s no secret that Britney Spears has utilized a vocal track during her performances for years now, and finally John Mayer addressed the controversy surrounding her Circus tour in Australia.

Over the weekend, Mayer tweeted, “If you’re shocked that Britney was lip-synching at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you,” alluding to the fact that it’s common knowledge that Spears lip-synchs.
