Jennifer Lopez’s South Beach Scandal

Lawyers are involved in a heated debate over whether or not Jennifer Lopez knows anything about the origins of the TV show South Beach. Now, U.S. Judge Henry Pitman has ordered J Lo to submit to a deposition by June 11, to answer questions posed in a lawsuit brought on last year.

The series, which is about Miami’s modeling and nightclub scene, is produced by Lopez, UPN and CBS Television - but is allegedly stolen from writer Jack Bunick.

Diddy: Did He?

Sean “Diddy” Combs is being accused of brandishing a chair and threatening his top choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson during an MTV taping of Making the Band.  The two got into a heated argument over treatment of the contestants and all hell broke loose.

Gibson said she got into an argument with Diddy and celebrity judge Michael Bivins during the April 25 filming of the MTV show.  She said the two men started yelling and cursing at her when she told them the dancers had been given only a day to practice in order to see how they dealt with pressure.

Mischa Barton Bares Some Skin At Boujis

Ever since she left The OC, Mischa Barton had been having a tough time finding the right role to take. In a recent announcement, Barton is searching no more - and celebrated by giving paparazzi a full frontal view after a “wardrobe malfunction” on Thursday night (May 17).

Mischa has just announced that she is set to appear alongside Rupert Everett in the new St Trinian’s movie.

Sandra Bullock’s Stalker Faces Charges

Sandra Bullock has made progress is locking up the stalker who tried to run down her husband, TV motorcycle maker Jesse James, outside their Orange County home.

According to Access Hollywood, ”Marcia Diane Valentine, 46, of Huntington Beach, was charged with one felony count each of aggravated assault and stalking. She could face up to four years and eight months in prison if convicted.”

No Theft Charges for Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan will not be charged with theft, despite the report that was filed in April.  According to the report, Lohan visited a house that was being watched by a friend while the owner was away.  During the visit, the house’s owner claims Lohan stole some of her clothes. 

The district attorney’s office declined to file felony grand theft charges on May 9 because of insufficient evidence, spokeswoman Jane Robison said yesterday.  Indeed, it would be an unlikely crime and pretty hard to prove.
