If you’re David Letterman, and you can’t do your nightly “Late Show” gig, who do you call? A CBS spokesperson stated that Letterman had to go home sick with a stomach virus, but he was able to find a last minute fill-in to handle his “Late Show” hosting duties: Adam Sandler.
Sandler was already scheduled to appear on the show as a guest, along with actor Don Cheadle, to promote their new film “Reign Over Me,” a drama about a man who reconnects with a college roommate after losing his whole family in the Sept. 11 attacks.

permalink R&B’s Luther Ingram Passes On At 69
The famed and influential R&B singer Luther Ingram died last night. The singer had received a transplant a few years ago, due to kidney disease, before passing on at the age of sixty-nine.
Born in 1944, in Tennessee, Luther Ingram moved to New York in 1966, to begin his career as a recorded musician. He later moved back to Tennessee and joined the Koko label, which was distributed by Stax.

Right about now, Ralph Fiennes is wishing that he had never joined the “Mile High” Club. In a story previously reported by The Gossip Girls, Fiennes was caught in a jet toilet with a Qantas flight crew member. Britney Spears has been suffering since age 16 with the disease known as Bulimia.
According to tabloid reports, Britney has been battling bulimia all her adult life and she finally confessed the fact when she was caught making herself vomit at Promises rehab center in Malibu. She continues to live at Promises against her will, at the urging of concerned family members.
