No Awards Show for Lindsay Lohan, Just Church

For those of you watching the MTV Movie Awards last night, you may have noticed the absence of Lindsay Lohan.  That’s because she’s hard at work cleaning herself up at the Promises Rehabilitation Facility.

The Georgia Rule actress was indeed scheduled to present an award at the show, but due to an unfortunate Memorial Day weekend, she elected not to. Last weekend, she crashed her Mercedes-Benz into a curb, was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence and was photographed slumped in the passenger seat of a friend’s car.

Justin Timberlake’s Hotel Scuffle

It seems that celebrities can never get any peace and quiet.  There’s always some annoying fan that wants an autograph, or screaming girls who want a picture, or violent men throwing Coke bottles at you.  The latter is the latest chapter in Justin Timberlake’s life.

During his stay at the posh Lowrey Hotel with current sweetie Jessica Biel, Timberlake was involved in verbal banter that turned ugly.  “Justin left Jessica at the bar while he went to fetch something from their room but when he came back he had a cut above his eye and was in a foul mood,” according to a witness.

John Travolta Denies Child’s Disability

In the midst of his new movie, Hairspray, hitting theaters, John Travolta is fielding press for another very different reason.  It seems the actor, 53, is in denial about his son’s disability.

Reportedly, Travolta and his wife, Kellly Preston, 44, are interested in having another child.  The problem is that the Saturday Night Fever star won’t face the fact that his 15-year-old son Jett is autistic.  When interviewing the star, one journalist observed, “Travolta sits there in interviews talking about how Jett loves to read or play sports, but it is clear that the boy can barely do either.”

Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Talks OxyContin and Alcohol

Providing updates on his daughter’s condition, Michael Lohan recently stated that Lindsay is involved in a detoxification program to rid her of her addiction to alcohol and OxyContin. 

“I spoke to the people treating Lindsay because I want to make sure she is getting the right care,” he told press. “And I’m satisfied they are doing the right thing for her, helping her detox from painkillers and things. That’s a very important step.”

Britney Spears Gets Messy In Sky Bar Bathroom

One would think that with Paris Hilton going to jail and Lindsay Lohan not far behind, Britney Spears would have enough sense to clean up her behavior before she joins them. Not the case. Back on the party scene, alcohol isn’t bringing the ‘Toxic’ songstress any glamorous stories, only tales of throwing up in men’s bathrooms.

According to the latest rumors, Brit was found “vomiting uncontrollably” in the men’s commode of the exclusive Sky Bar at Los Angeles’ Mondrian hotel on Sunday night (May 27). After a full evening of pounding ‘em back, Spears had to be carried out when she was discovered slumped over a toilet covered in her own mess.
