Quentin Tarantino Movie Almost Didn’t Happen

For fans of Kill Bill, Sin City, and Pulp Fiction, you’re in for a treat.  Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez have teamed up to make “Grindhouse”.  The film opens Friday, and promises to be really really cool.  However, the film had some drama in it’s making.

Production of Grindhouse ground to a halt last year when Rodriguez fell for his leading lady, Rose McGowan. To make matters worse, Rodriguez’s wife, Elizabeth Avellan, the mother of his five kids, found out.  Ouch.

Jennifer Lopez Drops the J. Lo

Puerto Rican popstar Jennifer Lopez is getting back to her roots.  At the advice of her Latin Lover husband Marc Anthony, Lopez has recorded a new album of Spanish love songs.  She has also dropped her “J. Lo” moniker.

“I’m not J.Lo any more. That’s all gone with all the ridiculous stories about tantrums and Egyptian sheets. That’s all my past,” she told the Guardian newspaper in Great Britain.  “I’m Jennifer Lopez. I think, as a woman, I’ve finally grown surer of who I am. It does seem ironic that it has taken me more than a decade to basically get back to who I am.”

Ashlee Simpson Gives Mayer Approval

Now that Ashlee Simpson has given her sisterly approval, Jessica Simpson has the green light to move forward with her John Mayer romance. Ashlee recently insisted that the “Daughters” singer is “great” for the divorced blonde.

After a few months of initial denials, Simpson and Mayer have let their romance blossom. The two have been spotted out on the town, everywhere from NYC to a romantic Roman getaway.

Usher Announces Engagement

Usher has decided that the time has come to settle down. The R&B star is engaged to marry his longtime girlfriend, wardrobe stylist Tameka Foster, Usher spokeswoman Simone Smalls said on Friday.

The announcement ends speculation that Usher had popped the question, as Foster has been photographed recently with a diamond ring on her finger.

Eminem’s Ex Up To Old Tricks

Kim Mathers won’t shut up.  Even when a judge ordered her to, she refused to quit talking trash about her ex-husband and father of her child, rapper Eminem. 

As reported previously by The Gossip Girls, the multi-platinum wordsmith from Detroit clashed with his ex-wife on Monday in court.  The warring couple came to an agreement to quit slandering each other in front of their 11-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade.
