We all remember the almost-tragic mix-up that landed Dennis Quaid’s newborn twins in the emergency room.  Well, now the actor and his wife are suing the maker of the drug that was involved in the fiasco.

Yesterday, Quaid riled a lawsuit against Baxter Healthcare Corporation, the maker of the blood-thinning drug Heparin.  But Baxter says the blame is being misplaced.

Richie Madden Children’s Foundation is Born

As a follow up to an earlier Gossip Girls story, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have officially launched their children’s charity.  And they’re already making the world a better place.

Yesterday, Joel and Nicole hosted a surprise baby shower for one hundred new and expecting mothers at the Los Angeles Free Clinic in Hollywood, California.  During the event, more than $200,000 worth of gifts were bestowed upon the women.

John Mayer’s Carousel Dating Program

Not one to be tied down to just one girl, John Mayer continued on with his carousel dating program by taking out Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly last night (December 3).

The date with Minka, 27, comes just three days after reports from US Weekly tell, “the 30-year-old was spotted ‘kissing, holding hands’ and dirty dancing with ex flame Cameron Diaz at NYC GoldBar November 30,” as their source added, “They were totally on a date.”

It’s no secret that movie stars make loads of money.  But a new initiative being promoted by Cate Blanchett may surprise you.

The “Babel” actress and her husband were in Sydney, Australia today for an advanced screening of her new film, “I’m Not There,” a biopic on Bob Dylan.  And through the Sydney Theatre Group, they’re starting a new ticketing system that would allow theatergoers to purchase twenty tickets for $20.
