Costume Institute Gala: Hollywood Style At Its Best

The New York Metropolitan Museum of Art was the place to be and be seen on Monday night (May 7). The Met played host to this year’s Costume Institute Gala in honor of Paul Poiret.

Poiret was a renowned pre-World War II fashion designer, who was the first to use draping in dressmaking and is credited with launching the suspender belt, flesh-colored stockings, the sack dress and culottes.

Cate Blanchett Lands “Indiana Jones 4” Role

The blockbuster movie franchise ”Indiana Jones“ has just added Cate Blanchett to the list of big names set to star in the story’s fourth installment.

Cate joins Harrison Ford, who has already boarded the project, which will be produced by Lucasfilm and directed by Steven Spielberg.
