New York Fashion Week Gets Underway

You better believe the paparazzi are ready and waiting for the masses of beautiful people making their way to the Big Apple this weekend.  With the NYC Fashion Week kicking off, it’s sure to be a sight to behold.

Over at the Nicole Miller show, stars like Natasha Henstridge (in a classic black ensemble) and Cheryl Hines (wearing a champagne satin cleavage-bearing dress) were spotted hanging out and enjoying the fabulous clothes.

Brooke Shields’ Breakfast with Baby Grier

After all the cooking and cleaning necessitated by the holiday season, sometimes it’s nice to just go out for breakfast, rather than make it yourself.  At least, that’s what Brooke Shields was thinking yesterday morning.

The “Suddenly Susan” actress was spotted out in Brentwood, California grabbing a quiet breakfast with her 20-month-old baby, Grier Hammond, and a girlfriend.

Brooke Shields’ New Show

She’s had such a long-running, far-reaching career, and Brooke Shields’ latest project, a TV show called “Lipstick Jungle” sounds like a winner.  She was on the set yesterday, looking happy as ever.

In “Lipstick Jungle” Shields plays a character named Wendy.  And according to Brooke, there are many similarities between herself and her character.

Tom Cruise Apologizes to Brooke Shields

Brooke Shields was on Jay Leno the other night, looking beautiful as ever I must say.  She talked about life, love, kids and Tom Cruise. The stunning news I’m sure you’re all waiting to hear is that Tom Cruise stopped by Brooke Shield’s house the other day and apologized for his ill remarks about her post partum depression.  Brooke’s husband even made everyone omlettes and they’re all fine and good for now.

“He came over to my house, and he gave me a heartfelt apology. He apologized for bringing me into the whole thing and for everything that happened. And through it all, I was so impressed with how heartfelt it was. And I didn’t feel at any time that I had to defend myself, nor did I feel that he was trying to convince me of anything other than the fact that he was deeply sorry. And I accepted it.”

Cruise’s spokesman confirmed the celebrities made up. “It is true that his friendship with Ms. Shields has been mended,” spokesman Arnold Robinson said in a statement. “He has not changed his position about antidepressants, which as evidenced by the black label warnings issued by the FDA on these types of drugs, are unhealthy.”
