Beyonce Braves The Cold At Premiere

Beyonce braved freezing temperatures to show off her reknowned figure, wearing a strapless dress at the London premiere of Dreamgirls on Sunday, January 22nd.

The singer-and-actress dazzled on the red carpet in a glowing, sequinned gown put together by top fashion designer Elie Saab.

However, Beyonce admitted that she was not planning on wearing the revealing outfit all night. This was a good idea, as the temperature in London’s Leicester Square plummeted towards zero. It was actually surprising that she wore the outfit even for the brief amount of time which she did.

Meanwhile, she said: “I’m not wearing it for long, but it’s worth the pain.”

Beyonce Sympathizes With Whitney Houston

Pop singer Beyonce is sympathetic towards the regularly troubled singer Whitney Houston. She feels so strongly that she does not even want to talk about Whitney’s downfall. The downfall led Whitney, who made huge sums of money, into debt consolidation as a result of her excessive credit card spending and drug addictions.

According to Beyonce, Whitney should not be criticized for her struggles with drug addiction and her marriage breakdown. She added that Houston has had a lot to deal with in her 20-year career in music. Not to mention a crazy husband.

She added: “I think it’s very easy to get yourself into trouble. We live an unrealistic life in a crazy world. The demands are huge and the fallout can be equally big. You can get swept along by events. It is very hard for a woman in the music business to maintain a long-term career. There are demands you cannot even begin to imagine.

Shakira and Beyonce Make For One Hot Duet

Talk about a hot duet. Stay tuned to MTV, for Shakira and Beyonce are teaming up. In a move to capitalize on the hit and make some more money/gain a wider fan base, Beyonce is re-releasing her latest album B’Day. This move came after a Spanish remake of one of her songs became a surprise hit.

For one of the new songs to be remade, Beautiful Liar, the former Destiny’s Child star will team up with Colombian pop sensation Shakira.

Without a doubt, it should make for one hot video. So, set your TiVo on your lcd or plasma tv, because you know its coming soon.

The song that ignited this re-release was a Spanish version of the song Irreplaceable. The tune recently took the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart by storm, making the already huge English single a cross-over success.

If you can dance, you may be able to make money fast. All you have to do is buy a plane ticket, go to an audition for Beyonce, and nail the performance. How, you ask?

Beyonce held a series of dance auditions this past weekend in Houston, Texas. Hundreds of dancing hopefuls showed up to display their talent in a series of auditions in the singer’s hometown. The dancers were put through their paces Saturday at a Houston studio, performing choreographed routines to such Beyonce hits as “Deja Vu” in front of choreographer Frank Gaston and several cameras.

After auditions in the cities of Los Angeles and New York, Houston was the third location in the cross-country search to fill 40 slots for Beyonce’s upcoming worldwide tour. The audition process will continue on in the city of Chicago.

Beyonce Not Bothered By Oscar Snub

Publicists for Beyonce have squashed reports that the singer/actress is upset upon learning that she has been disqualified from the Oscars’ Best Song category, insisting that she always knew she’d miss out on a nod.

“Beyonce is aware of the Oscar rule that says only three songwriters can be nominated. It’s all about percentages how much each person contributed to the song,” her publicist stated via his cingular cell phone.

“Beyonce contributed greatly to Listen, but her percentage is lower, so she didn’t expect to be eligible for the nomination. She’s very happy that her co-writers may be recognized,” he added.

Fortunately, Beyonce is expected to receive consideration for her role in the movie.
