Amy Winehouse Visits Jailbird Hubby

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Amy Winehouse hasn’t been taking the incarceration of her husband Blake Fielder-Civil very well.  The only thing keeping her going is the fact that she gets to visit him frequently.

Earlier today, the “Rehab” singer stopped by the London prison to pay her love a visit.  When she arrived, the prison guards made her wait outside until she was approved by the warden.

It would appear that personal turmoil equals Grammy nods this year.  At least that’s the case for Kanye West and Amy Winehouse.  Between his mother dying and her husband being thrown in the slammer, these two were pretty desperate for some good news.

Between the two of them, the “Jesus Walks” rapper and the “Rehab” singer have a total of fourteen nominations (8 for him, 6 for her).  And they’re not the only ones with multiple chances to take home an award.

The troubled British singer locked herself out of her front gate.  After a moment of thinking, she decided to lay down on the wet pavement in order to crawl under the barrier.

Things just keep getting weirder and weirder with Amy Winehouse.  This time paparazzi caught her walking around London in the wee hours of the morning wearing nothing but a red bra and a pair of jeans.

Why, you may ask?  Good question!  According to her rep, it wasn’t the result of a hard night of partying.  “She was not on an all-night bender,” claims Amy’s spokesperson when questioned about the 5:45am incident Sunday morning.

If you were hoping to catch Amy Winehouse live this year, you can forget it.  She’s cancelling all remaing live and promotional appearances… and it’s based on her doctor’s orders.

According to the official press release, the “Rehab” singer’s doctor stated, “The rigors involved in touring and the intense emotional strain that Amy has been under in recent weeks have taken their toll. In the interests of her health and well-being, Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her health issues.”
