Jonathan Rhys Meyers Mourns Loss of Mother

First Kanye West’s mother dies, and now Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ mom has passed away.  Geraldine O’Keeffe died Tuesday morning at Mercy University Hospital.

The Tudors actor was seen paying his final respects to his mother on Friday at St. Joseph’s Church in Glanmire, County Cork, Ireland.

Kanye West Mourns Mother’s Death

It’s a sad time in the life of Kanye West.  He has a hit album, and a killer tour, but all of that doesn’t make up for the fact that he just lost his mother.

Donda West passed away this past Saturday at 58 years of age.  And it was well-known that the “Jesus Walks” rapper loved his momma.

Robert Goulet Passes Away At Age 73

Believe it or not, Will Ferrell won’t be doing any Robert Goulet impressions for awhile.  The famous singer/actor died yesterday at age 73.

Goulet was best known for his lounge act, having become a fixture in the Las Vegas scene.  He rose to fame with his role in the 1960 Broadway musical “Camelot” and has been acting and singing ever since.

J Lo’s Grandmother Passes Away

She was in the middle of an amazing tour with her hubby Marc Anthony, but Jennifer Lopez has put her career on hold to tend to a family tragedy.

Julia Rodriguez, Lopez’s grandmother, died this past Saturday while J Lo was performing a concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.  And the 38-year-old singer is taking the news pretty hard.

Opera World Mourns Loss of Luciano Pavarotti

The final chapter of Luciano Pavarotti’s life ended early this morning, as he passed away while surrounded by family in his hometown of Modena, Italy. Rising to the top of his profession over a 50 year journey, the 71-year-old performer will be mourned both by an adoring public as well as a grieving family.

“The Maestro fought a long, tough battle against the pancreatic cancer which eventually took his life. In fitting with the approach that characterized his life and work, he remained positive until finally succumbing to the last stages of his illness,” according to a family spokesman.
