Travis Barker’s (+44) New Music Video

Since Travis is one of Paris Hilton’s latest squeezes we thought we’d share a little Travis Barker music news with you today.  Travis is in a band called (+44) and they have a new music video for their song, When Your Heart Stops Beating.

Here’s the 411 on (+44):

(+44) was formed by blink-182 members Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker. Also playing in the band are former Transplants touring guitarist Craig Fairbaugh and the lead guitarist of The Nervous Return, Shane Gallagher. The band’s debut album, When Your Heart Stops Beating, is set for release November 14, 2006 in the United States The name (+44) was conceived as a reference to the international dialing code for the United Kingdom, where Hoppus and Barker first discussed the new project.

Lindsay Lohan and her MySpace Page

On Monday, Lindsay Lohan had Harry Morton as one of her ‘top’ friends.  On Tuesday, Harry was missing.. he’s no longer a member of the top 12 friends - but I found him buried in the z-list of friends.  Well, today Lindsay has made her MySpace page for Friends Only.

Until today, her ‘headline’ read “Grey Goose got the girl feelin’ loose.” Now what does it say? “Haha, Bitches”

Think something’s up over there?  ALSO, she doesn’t have her photo on her MySpace.. but now my friend list has a photo of Lindsay and Harry on it, with her public page still showing just the grey default icon.

Lindsay, girl, what are you doing?????

Gosh I spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON MYSPACE and I still haven’t even figured out what the hell is the point of MySpace. All I ever get is spammy friend invites from people trying to promote themselves.  I want some cool friends.  Are you cool? Wanna be my friend?  Check out my MySpace. Don’t leave me lonely over there. I’ve not approved one person yet - and it’s not because I’m being a b*tch it’s just that everyone is just self-promoting and I want real people.

Aaron Carter is Single Again (That Was Quick!)

The tweens of America can breathe a sigh of relief this evening. Aaron Carter is not getting married.

“I got caught up in the moment and proposed. I then realized it was a hasty thing to do and I am not ready for marriage quite yet.”

So what about Kari Ann Peniche? Who knows but she’s deleted her MySpace so I guess she’s gone into seclusion for a bit. 

“They are just going to be friends now. She still wants to keep dating him but Aaron is not quite sure. He was trying to appease her but came to his senses and realized it was the wrong thing to do.”

Aaron Carter to Marry Playboy Playmate… Oh Aaron!

What? Who? Where? All the “tweens” in America are confused and wondering what just hit them. They’re sweet little Aaron Carter is going to marry a girl who posed nude in Playboy? Oh say it isn’t so. Guess since he’s 18 and all.. he’s all grown up now.  Well, it all happened in Las Vegas…

Aaron Carter has proposed to his girlfriend, who happens to be an ex-girlfriend of his brother, Nick Carter. (Ewww, sloppy seconds!)

The “girl” is Kari Ann Peniche.. a name I never heard of before today.  She was a teen beauty queen—Miss United States Teen 2003 (Never heard of that pageant either) who was stripped of her title for stripping off her clothes.  She has a MySpace that’s been “sanitized” for now, but you know we love Google and it’s cache.. so you can see it in all it’s glory here. Can’t hide from Google honey!!!

Seems the romance between the two is so new that even big daddy Carter isn’t sure what’s going on.  “I heard he got married, then I heard he only got engaged. I don’t have a clue.” Papa Carter also said that the couple “just started dating. Even my daughters don’t know what’s going on.” Lovely, just lovely.. there is such a rock solid foundation to this lovely marriage.

Now, not that these two items have anything in common, but you do know that the Carter clan is staring in an E! TV series, right?  It’s called House of Carters, featuring Aaron, older brother Nick, twin sister Angel, and sisters Bobbie Jean and Leslie which premieres Oct. 2nd.  Some are calling the engagement a publicity stunt to get attention for the show, but honestly what’s left of Aaron’s fan base are female teenagers.. why would he want to alienate his only niche viewers by getting hitched? Guess he didn’t think this all the way through.
