Katie Holmes and daughter Suri had a girl’s night out at David Beckham’s debut match with the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday (July 21).

And even though Becks spent most of the game on the bench, mother and daughter Cruise made the most of their time together - smiling and playing throughout the action.

Who says the real estate market is depressed?  Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes just dropped $3.5 million to purchase three acres of land from Rob Lowe in order to build a dream home. 

The plot is located in the Montecito area of Santa Barbara.  And they’ll be cozying up to neighbor Oprah Winfrey, whose $50 million compound is less than a mile down the road.

Actress Katie Holmes walked down the red carpet in a form fitting black outfit, stealing the show last night. The younger half of TomKat was in NY for the premiere of HairSpray. 

Holmes has close ties with several of the cast members of the movie, and her attendance at the premiere was even more notable due to the absence of her husband, Tom Cruise, who remained in Germany filming his next movie. It was often speculated whether we would ever see Katie sans Tom, and now one of life great mysteries has been solved.

According to a new report in Star magazine, Tom and Katie are living a life full of family and marital bliss.  One source reports, “Katie was off having lunch with a few girlfriends, and when she came home, Tom was in the playroom assembling an enormous castle amid a cluster of collectible Shrek figures!  Tom had taken Suri on a little shopping spree, and Tom kept giving in!  He can’t say not to Suri.”

War Hero’s Son Slams Tom Cruise

Anytime the name Adolf Hitler is mentioned, there is bound to be controversy.  In a new film about a failed assassination attempt on the former Nazi leader, Tom Cruise is set to play Count Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg in a new film, “Valkyrie.” And the Count’s son is not happy.

Berthold von Stauffenberg is being very vocal about his displeasure over Cruise’s role as his father.  “I hoped for a while that it was all just a publicity stunt by Mr Cruise.  It is sure to be crap. Of course, I could be wrong - I would like to be,” he told press.
