Jennifer Garner Goes British with This Side of Truth

As she enjoys her success on Broadway, Jennifer Garner is looking ahead to what’s next in her career.  And it’s taking her across the pond.

The “Alias” hottie is set to star in “This Side of Truth” with Ricky Gervais, the creator of the British comedy “The Office” (we have one here in the States, too!).  In the film, Gervais plays a man who “discovers how to lie in a world where people only know how to be honest.”

Glamour’s Women of the Year

The Lincoln Center in New York City was definitely the place to be last night.  Glamour’s Women of the Year 2007 was in the house, and some big names showed up for the festivities.

Abigail Breslin was named the first ever Girl of the Year.  She’s been a huge hit ever since “Little Miss Sunshine” made its way into theaters.  And with the success of “No Reservations,” Breslin is on her way to a serious career in film.

Jennifer Garner Debuts On Broadway

The results are in… and Jennifer Garner is a hit on Broadway!  Last night she gave her opening performance as “Roxane” in Cyrano de Bergerac and everyone loved it.

The Broadway critic of Broadway critics Ben Brantley gave the show a thumbs-up.  In his New York Times review he wrote, “Ms. Garner, I am pleased to report, makes Roxane a girl worth pining over.”

Jennifer Garner and Violet Enjoy Halloween Fun

Jennifer Garner had her hands full, as she took nearly two-year-old daughter Violet Affleck for a day of Halloween fun in New York City on Wednesday (October 31).

Besides taking care of Violet, Jennifer recently gave her opinion on what makes a successful modern woman during a recent interview.

Jennifer Garner Pleases Fans

She’s such a sweetheart!  Jennifer Garner has been doing a stint on Broadway, and sometimes she even stops outside to greet fans and sign autographs afterwards.  Last night, a few lucky admirers got a chance to meet their favorite Alias star outside the Richard Rodgers Theater.

Garner and her husband Ben Affleck have been sharing mommy and daddy duties in between their busy schedules.  And Jen says, though Affleck has been hailed as an amazing father for doing his part, she expects no less from him.
