Nicole Kidman Has Urban On Lock-Down

Nicole Kidman has put the clamps on her husband Keith Urban, using an ankle monitor to keep the country crooner away from the booze. 

According to News.com.au, Nicole is so concerned that her “country boy might backslide back into the booze, she will lock a remote-controlled alcohol monitor around his ankle.”

Nicole Kidman Receives Aussie Award

Nicole Kidman was awarded Australia’s top civil honor, the Companion of the Order of Australia, on Friday.

Seen as an equivalent to an English knighthood, the award was bestowed upon Kidman for her work promoting women and children’s health and cancer research.

Nicole Kidman Denies Pregnancy Claims

Contrary to widely-spreading rumors, Nicole Kidman has adamantly denied reports that she is pregnant. The denials came after Nicole arrived home in Australia with country star husband Keith Urban, with Kidman readying to start work on a new film.

The claim that Nicole was expecting Keith’s child, first published in Britain’s News of the World tabloid, was dismissed as “100 percent not true” by Kidman’s publicist. The amount of time between News of the World’s story and the denial led more and more to believe that Kidman actually was pregnant. Not so.

Kidman and Urban Make Way For Baby

Film actress Nicole Kidman and Country star Keith Urban are expecting a child.  Their first child together comes after months of fertility treatment.  Kidman has two adopted children from her marriage to Tom Cruise, but has been in her quest to mother a child herself ever since she and Urban wed last June.

A source close to the couple tells Australian Women’s Day, “Nicole and Keith are having a baby.  They have been riding on clouds since they got the news. Nicole’s been hoping for this day since they got married. Everyone knows she’s been aching to have a baby. It’s all she’s been talking about for ages.”

Nicole Kidman Opens Up To Russell Crowe

In an interesting format, Nicole Kidman opened up in an interview conducted by fellow Aussie and actor, Russell Crowe.

This all took place on Oprah’s ABC special that pitted Oscar winner vs. Oscar winner in interviews designed to promote the Academy Awards ceremony, airing Sunday February 25th.

During the interview, in which Crowe eerily sounded like a reporting pro, Nicole spoke about having a child and her recently troubled husband, Keith Urban.
