Sean Penn Celebrates Best Actor at SAG Afterparty
It was a big night for Sean Penn, as the talented actor finally picked up that elusive Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Male in a Lead Role during last night’s ceremony.
Telling how much he enjoyed his fellow nominees’ work, Penn said, “I wept at every one of these guys’ performances. You’re stunning.”

Golden Globe Nominations Announced
As we continue down the path to awards show season, our next stop is the Golden Globe nominations. And earlier today, the hopefuls were announced.
Of course, both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are vying for a trophy this time around, Pitt for his role in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and Jolie for her part in “Changeling.”

Natalie Portman Gets Jury Duty at Cannes
Leaving the spotlight to this year’s entrants, Natalie Portman put in a low-key appearance during the opening day of the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 14).
The My Blueberry Nights actress attended a photocall for this year’s jury members - standing alongside festival president Sean Penn and the rest of her fellow jurors.
