Cameron Diaz Enjoys Paris, Courted By Angel’s Stunt

There are a lot of ways to get a girl to notice you.  Buy a fancy car, or deck yourself out in some designer duds.  But for Cameron Diaz, no such means would do.  Criss Angel had to get creative.

The illusionist decided to bind himself inside a locked concrete box and suspend it forty feet above Times Square in New York City.  Minutes before the box was closed, Criss said, “This is dedicated to my new girl. You know who you are. I’ll be thinking of you.”

As with every red carpet event, there are a select few that steal the flashes of the cameras from the star-studded field of A-list celebrities.  With Paris Hilton going to jail by Tuesday night at the latest, the number of camera flashes going off as she exited the car would blind most.  To Paris’ credit, she has been looking rather fit lately due to extensive personal trainer workouts over the past couple weeks.

Jessica Alba was looking as beautiful as ever in a gorgeous, fire engine red dress.  Alba’s reaction to stardom has been at the opposite end of the spectrum from the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, and she is definitely on the right path to a successful future.

With the MTV Movie Awards coming up this weekend, there are lots of details to be ironed out.  Getting that many egos together for one night can be a headache for even the best event coordinators.  And this year, Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel are at the top of the priority list.

When Justin Timberlake split up with Cameron, we all knew there was going to be trouble.  In January, Diaz threw a hissie at then-recent ex, JT, when she observed him flirting with his current girlfriend, Biel.  Fast-forward a few months, and lets see what happens.

Cameron Diaz Hits Taiwan, A Hit With Criss Angel

This is certainly the time of year for movies; even third installments of film franchises.  While Spiderman 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End are occupying their fair share of the spotlight, Shrek The Third is pulling it’s weight, too.  Cameron Diaz has been doing publicity for the new film, and she recently visited Taiwan.

Diaz’s character, Fiona, is a modern version of the classic fairy tale princess.  Fiona understands that “if you want something to happen, you have to go out and do it yourself,” said Diaz.  That independent attitude is helpful for Diaz, an actress who has to stand up for herself.

Cameron Diaz and Shrek Head Down Under

Cameron Diaz took to the red carpet in Sydney on Tuesday (May 22). There to promote her new movie, Shrek The Third, Diaz was accompanied by her on-screen husband, the much-loved green ogre himself, and the head honcho at DreamWorks SKG, Jeffrey Katzenberg.

“It’s fantastic, we couldn’t be more happy,” Diaz told reporters of the film’s record-setting box-office opening. It was the biggest first weekend takings for an animated feature film and has earned the third highest opening weekend income for any film - when it brought in a cool $122 million.
