If you want to have a successful charity, a little celebrity power never hurts.  Last night, Carmen Electra and Jodie Foster added a little glam to the Trevor Project’s Cracked Xmas benefit at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles.

Carmen Electra showed up looking girlie-girl glamorous.  She wore a purple sundress-inspired garment with a green cardigan to chase off the chill.

Billionaire Richard Branson was busy yesterday launching the first of Virgin America’s three daily flights between San Francisco and Las Vegas. And he brought out some star power to help build up press for the affair.

Attending the festivities were Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge, stars of MTV’s reality show “The Hills,” along with former centerfolds Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra.

In another NYC Fashion Week story, Carmen Electra brought her own flavor to the Big Apple when she posed for 2(x)ist’s show in a suspended hoop above the catwalk.

But photographers hoping to snap a few shots of the former Mrs. Dave Navarro were miffed when her rep informed them that they couldn’t take any pics of her, lest they pay a $25,000 fine.

Baywatch babe and four time Playboy model Carmen Electra proved she still has the stuff to strut down the beach in a bikini and stop traffic. With a professional acting and modeling career dating back over a decade, it’s no surprise that Carmen was able to take advantage of the media hounds.

To set the stage, Carmen was casually dressed while hosting a party at the Polaroid House in Malibu, when the paparazzi started to press her to give them some more exciting photos.
