Chris Brown Opens Up About Rihanna Assault

Speaking out about the all too well-known assault incident, Chris Brown told Larry King that he doesn’t even remeber beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

“When I look at it now, it’s just like, wow, like, I can’t — I can’t believe that — that actually happened,” Brown explains.

Chris Brown’s Mom: Not Ashamed

It has been a tough year for Chris Brown and his family, following his legal drama for the beating of girlfriend Rihanna.  And Chris’ mother Joyce Hawkins recently thanked her son’s fans for their support in the hard times.

Taking to the Chris Brown fan club website, Joyce wrote, “I just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for your continued support. I’m sorry I wasn’t allowed to speak to anyone as this case was ongoing.”

Chris Brown Chats with Larry King Live

Chris Brown, who was recently sentenced to five years of probation for beating Rihanna, sat down with Larry King on Wednesday in his first interview since his arrest in February.

Speaking to the host in Los Angeles, along with his mother Joyce Hawkins and attorney Mark Geragos, the “Kiss Kiss” singer’s mom “got very emotional and started to cry during the interview.”

Following his sentencing in a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday (August 25), Chris Brown was spotted making his way into the recording studio to refocus on his career.

The “Kiss Kiss” singer sported a smile as he strolled past the paparazzi wearing a white t-shirt along with a grey vest with a yellow heart pinned on it.

Chris Brown Sentenced for Rihanna Assault

Taking to the Los Angeles Criminal Courts building, Chris Brown arrived for formal sentencing in regards to his assault on ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, alongside his lawyer and bodyguards on Tuesday afternoon (August 25).

Wearing a three-piece suit, the “Kiss Kiss” singer was dealt the expected 180 days community labor, which he can perform in his home state of Virginia, as well as felony probation for 60 months.
