Paris Hilton tops Blackwell’s WORST Dressed list

Mr. Blackwell, chronicler of clothing catastrophes, poked fun at socialite-reality TV star Paris Hilton Tuesday for committing the worst fashion follies of the past year.

“Paris came up shining with a big spotlight saying, `Pick me!’ She was just the most natural contender to make No. 1 this year.”

She does everything she can to be outrageous, everything she can to be over the top, everything she can to be too much and she succeeded and what she got from it was a great TV show”

Madonna and Britney Spears “kissin’ cousins of couture crime” were tied for second place, followed by Shania Twain (country-fried kitsch), Diane Keaton, Jessica Simpson, Celine Dion (half-sequined scarecrow, half-gaudy acrobat), Missy Elliott, Melanie Griffith, Courtney Love (torrid temptress of fashion) and Lara Flynn Boyle.

On the positive side, Blackwell praised Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Garner, Diane Lane, Salma Hayek, Oprah Winfrey, Katie Holmes, Tippi Hedren, Beyonce, Faith Hill, Sarah Jessica Parker and the Countess of Wessex, the former Sophie Rhys-Jones, as “Fabulous Fashion Independents for 2003.” [read more at ABC News via AP]

Cameron Diaz needs some acne advice from Britney Spears

Cameron Diaz wasn’t the sweetest thing towards paparazzi in Chile.

The star landed in the South American country and went a little ballistic towards the photographers there who caught her coming out of the plane, says a source.

“The problem was that she was not wearing makeup and her complexion is quite bad and she did not look good,” reports an insider.

“The usually nice Cameron was not happy to be photographed. She was furious and screamed, putting all the photographers on the run.”

We here at Celebrity Gossip think that she should have a little pow wow with Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson to share tips and advice on clearing up that nasty case of Acne. The Britney Spears Wedding Finale…

It was just crazy, man,” Jason Allen Alexander told Access Hollywood. “We were looking at the lights in the city, thinking this is a really pretty, beautiful night.

“And we were just looking at each other and said, ‘Let’s do something wild, crazy. Let’s go get married, just for the hell of it,’” he said.

But what a difference daylight - and a stern lecture from her manager and her mother - makes.

“We both started realizing what we had done,” Alexander said. “Then we started telling people what we done did. That’s when all hell broke loose.”

One of the pop star’s pals said Britney’s manager and brother “freaked out” when she informed them she had married Alexander. “She said that she wanted to get out of it because her manager sat her down and told her exactly what marriage would mean for her career-wise.”

In the annulment papers, Spears claims that she “lacked understanding of her actions,” and insisted she was “incompatible” with the hunk from her hometown, Kentwood, La. A judge agreed and dissolved Spears’ marriage after deliberating for a grand total of 2 hours, 12 minutes. [read the full story]

Texas Chainsaw Massacre, how romantic! I mean I could understand if they had been watching Love Actually or some touchy feely lovey dovey movie, but the Texas Chainsaw Massacre?? Give me a break!

The worst part about the incident is that once her brother (manager) and mother heard of the marriage, everything went bust. It’s not a good career move for her right now, you know?

I love the legal reason for her requesting an annulment: “..did not know each other’s likes and dislikes, each other’s desires to have or not have children.” Give me a break.

Sorry for sounding cynical, but I just can’t help it.

Brit babe’s marriage is over.. it was all a joke

According to Britney’s people the marriage was a joke that went too far. We saw that coming, didn’t we? Here’s the statement from Jive Records:

“On January 3rd, Britney Spears and a friend took a joke too far by getting married. Ms. Spears and Mr. Alexander have filed for an annulment which will become official on Monday, January 5.”

So, that’s the end of that. I still think the guy should get a few million dollars for pain and suffering. I’m sure he’ll also have lots of women beating down his door now that he’s sort of famous. He looks like a good hometown boy, the kind of guy she SHOULD marry. Like I said in my previous buzz, I bet he’s in love with her. As I find more info about him, I’ll post it for you.

Britney Spears is sober now… and is getting an annulment

So, we’re all sitting here on pins and needles wondering if it was all a game.. and it turns out that is was. Britney Spears did get married, and Saturday afternoon she began the procedure to annul her marriage. But, does the groom get at least a few $$$ million for his pain and suffering? Alimony?

“The two arranged an annulment Saturday afternoon in the presence of several people, including a Las Vegas lawyer, said a source close to Britney Spears who spoke on condition of anonymity. The signed annulment will be official when the courts open Monday morning, the source said.” [AP]

Jason Alexander has returned home to Kentwood, Louisiana and it doesn’t appear he’s doing much talking. His grandfather, Robert Alexander, said “He’d been through a lot. We picked him up in New Orleans coming back and he didn’t have much to say.” (according to Entertainment Tonight). He also said that Britney and Jason had spent Christmas Eve together. So, this leads me to believe that maybe there was something between them more than just a platonic friendship. I just can’t help but feel that maybe Jason really is in love with her and that she just doesn’t feel quite as strongly for her. I kind of got this feeling from the comments made by Jason’s grandfather. And where is Britney?

I can just see this happening. He’s in love with her. She loves him as a friend. They’re all drunk and having a great time. Someone suggests hey why don’t you two go get married. She’s all like, “hey okay why not.” So they rush off in a drunken fog to get married. She wakes up with an awful hangover wondering what the hell she did. He’s happy as can be and all of his dreams have come true. She looks at him, he looks at her.. she runs out of the room screaming, “Oh my God what have I done????” Then, within hours she’s called her attorney’s and everyone’s rushed to her side to take care of the situation.  Which leaves Jason on a plane back to Louisiana heartbroken and Britney heads to LA or to rehab to get a grip.

Now of course, that’s just my speculation of what probably happened.  And you know me, I’m a drama queen… so only God himself really knows the truth, but I like my version *smile*
