As Oscar weekend begins to unfold, Tinseltown is preparing for the all-important night with several pre-parties.  And last night stars like Kate Winslet, Freida Pinto, Marion Cotillard, and Abbie Cornish were all spotted checking out a pre-Oscar shindig.

The Ebell Club was overflowing with mega-hot celebrity presence as the US Ireland Alliance held their Pre-Oscar Gala Awards Ceremony.  And there was plenty of paparazzi eagerly snapping up beautiful pictures of some of our favorite leading ladies.

She’s one of the hottest international actresses in the industry, and earlier today Marion Cotillard was spotted hard at work on the set of her new movie “Nine” in Italy.

The “Big Fish” gal looked focused as she meandered around the lot in between takes, sporting a dark jacket along with a fedora and sunglasses in an unsuccessful attempt to go unnoticed.

Wearing an olive jacket overtop a charcoal t-shirt paired with jeans and open-toed shoes, the “Big Fish” actress popped into Cipriani restaurant for a bite to eat with friends.

Taking best picture honors was the Coen Brothers’ hit film, No Country For Old Men - which was thought to be a front-runner from the event’s onset.
