Nicole Richie: Afraid Of Paris-Like Fate

After reports came out claiming that she was back in rehab, Nicole Richie has moved swiftly to help clear the air. During an on-air discussion with Ryan Seacrest, Nicole talked about her upcoming DUI sentencing and what’s been keeping her busy the past few weeks.

To start off, Nicole admitted that she is indeed “nervous” about the possibility that she may follow friend and Simple Life co-star Paris Hilton to jail.

Paris Hilton showed her patriotism on Monday (May 28), throwing a BBQ to honor America’s fallen heroes (and providing herself with the opportunity for another heartfelt set of photos - this time posing with the American Flag).

Attendees of the little get-together included Paris, her sister Nicky, ‘Simple Life’ co-star Nicole Richie, and unlikely pal Elisha Cuthbert. While the girls all looked to be in good spirits, the topic of the day had to center on Paris’ upcoming jail term that begins on June 5th - exactly one week from today.

Nicole Richie: To Relapse or Not To Relapse

No one can seem to agree on what the heck is going on with Nicole Richie.  Ever since she lost loads of weight, there are constantly rumors swirling that she is in trouble one way or another. 

According to TMZ, Nicole is doing fine at her home in Glendale.  But the Enquirer and Star Magazine tell a different tale.  They say that the Simple Life star re-entered rehab on May 11th to deal with anorexia and addiction to painkillers.

2007 Australia Video Music Awards

The MTV Australia Video Music Awards took place in Sydney, Austalia last night (April 29), with American acts stealing the show.

Punk rockers 30 Seconds to Mars came up big, with The Kill being named Video of the Year and Best Rock Video. The Jared Leto led band beat out the likes of Australian bands Wolfmother’s Joker and the Thief, as well as Christina Aguilera, Eskimo Joe, and Jet.

Joel Madden Smokes Out Heroin Temptations

Thank goodness for cigarettes! Joel Madden, Good Charlotte’s frontman and boyfriend of Nicole Richie, recently stated that he relies on the nicotine sticks to satisfy his craving for heroin, a painfully addictive Class A drug.

In an interview with Blender magazine, Joel said: “Without cigarettes, I would be doing heroin, probably on a daily basis.”
