Basking in the glory of finally turning 16-years-old, Miley Cyrus was the center of attention at the Nokia Theatre where the 2008 American Music Awards were taking place on Sunday night (November 23).

After being introduced by her country-singing father, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley took to the stage for a performance before making her way backstage to get her “Sweet 16” celebration underway.
