Angelina Jolie has been almost better known for her humanitarian efforts than for her movies.  Together with Brad Pitt, the two have been crisscrossing the globe doing good things for impoverished people.

That’s why it’s too bad that Jolie’s latest adoptee came from a heroin-addicted birthmother.  The boy’s mother is a drug addict who will most likely come after Jolie for money, according to the child’s grandparents.

In what could be the beginning of a “nest egg” for the newest member of the Jolie-Pitt clan, Angelina Jolie is rumored to be receiving a whopping $2 million for photos of her newly adopted son, Pax Thien.

According to Radar magazine, among others, Angelina has agreed to sell pictures of her new son to People magazine for between $1.75 million and $2 million.

Hardly giving herself a chance to breathe, it has been reported that Angelina Jolie has signed on to star alongside James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman in ‘Wanted.’

According to reports, Universal Pictures is set to produce the film, which is “about a young man who discovers his father is an assassin, only to learn shortly thereafter that his dad has been murdered. The youth is drafted to follow his father’s example.”

Angelina Jolie In Hanoi For Visa

According to the most recent AP reports, Angelina Jolie arrived in Hanoi today to finalize the adoption process and bring her newly adopted son, Pax Thien Jolie, to his new home in the USA.

“The 31-year-old actress dodged reporters on her way from the airport after flying from Ho Chi Minh City,” ABC News reported. Ho Chi Minh City is where Angelina went to pick up the newest member of her family, at an orphanage on the outskirts of the city last week.

Angelina Jolie’s New Son… Pax Thien

While out saving the world, actress Angelina Jolie has picked up the three-year-old Vietnamese boy she plans to adopt, but faces a few last procedural hurdles before the youngster can be brought to his new home in New Orleans.

Vietnamese officials approved the adoption, but US officials still need to give the adoption the green light before it is final, said Nguyen Van Trung, director of the Tam Binh orphanage. The child must have a medical check-up before US officials can issue him a passport and visa, which could be completed within the next day or two.
