Cameron Diaz; It Wasn’t Me

As a follow-up to the Gossip Girls story yesterday on Criss Angel’s lawsuit-happy estranged wife, Cameron Diaz is speaking up about the whole ordeal.

The Shrek 3 actress is denying any role in breaking up Angel’s marriage to Joanne Sarantakos.  She says that the marriage was over long before she set her sights on the Mindfreak performer.

It’s looking like Criss Angel has gotten himself into a sticky situation that he won’t likely break free of, despite his illusionary abilities.  It seems he’s married, and his estranged wife is gonna throw the book at him.

Angel’s soon-to-be ex, Joanne Sarantakos, is filing/suing for divorce and accusing the Mindfreak star of mental cruelty and abandonment.  Furthermore, she is saying that he had an affair with Cameron Diaz, and hasn’t shared any of his million dollar earnings with her.

There are a lot of ways to get a girl to notice you.  Buy a fancy car, or deck yourself out in some designer duds.  But for Cameron Diaz, no such means would do.  Criss Angel had to get creative.

The illusionist decided to bind himself inside a locked concrete box and suspend it forty feet above Times Square in New York City.  Minutes before the box was closed, Criss said, “This is dedicated to my new girl. You know who you are. I’ll be thinking of you.”

After a few little flings, Cameron Diaz has finally stepped out with a new man by her side - magician Criss Angel.

Diaz and Angel, who had previously been linked to British actress Minnie Driver, were first seen together on Saturday night (May 12) at the VH1 Rock Honors, before partying at the Jet Nightclub with Cam’s BFF Drew Barrymore.
