It appears that High School Musical has blown up so big here that the Brits are beckoning it’s stars to their country.  And Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are more than happy to answer the London Calling.

Zac, Vanessa and the High School Musical cast are enjoying some time across the pond while they promote HSM.  And Zac’s getting pretty experimental with his boyish good looks these days.

2007 Teen Choice Awards Honor Best In Entertainment

Last night was a big deal for many celebrities.  The Fox Network held their annual Teen Choice Awards at Universal Studios in Hollywood, and passed out life-size surfboards in lieu of statuettes.  Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon shared the hosting duties.

The big winners of the night included “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” with a win in the Choice Movie: Action Adventure category.  Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Bill Nighy also received surfboards.

Will Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens Bail on HSM3?

It is the BIGGEST show cable television has ever seen, and High School Musical 2’s stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are riding high on the wave of fame.  But if they don’t reach an agreement with Disney soon, they may not be a part of a third installment.

Reportedly, Efron, Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale aren’t sure that they’ll be a part of High School Musical 3.  And that has Disney execs sweating.

High School Musical 2 Breaks Records

With a record breaking Nielsen score last week at its premiere, High School Musical 2 showed that Disney has found the formula for a successful made-for-TV series.

Building upon the successful spin-offs, including concerts and records from the first show, it was not surprising that the sequel to High School Musical became the most-watched basic cable program ever. 

High School Musical 2 Premieres At Disney

If you were anywhere near Downtown Disney yesterday, you may have had a bit of trouble getting around.  Apparently the crowds were huge for High School Musical 2’s premiere.

There were thousands of people cramming in to see the stars of the Disney phenomenon as the film made its highly anticipated debut, and the soundtrack was released.
