If you’re the proud owner of two “X” chromosomes, you’ll be happy to know that Elle Magazine was, once again, paying tribute to the fairer sex with their annual “Women in Hollywood” celebration last night. And it was a who’s who of leading ladies, along with a legendary director. Those women being honored were director Julie Taymor ("Across the Universe"), and actors Lauren Bacall, Diane Lane ("Unfaithful"), Kate Bosworth ("Superman Returns"), Jennifer Connelly ("A Beautiful Mind"), Amy Adams ("Junebug") and Scarlett Johansson ("Lost in Translation"). posted by at 08:59 AM | (0) comments |

We’re already well into the new fall season of television, and one show is head and shoulders above the rest of the newcomers. “Gossip Girl” is an immediate hit, and critics say it shows some serious potential for longevity. The CW network is so pleased with the show that they’ve already ordered more episodes, making it the first new series this season to get a full-season pickup. posted by at 06:41 AM | (0) comments |

Hayden Panettiere and Kristen Bell are now co-stars on the hit show Heroes. And as co-stars, what better way to show a little solidarity than a trip to the bowling alley? That’s exactly what the two rising young actresses did - as just yesterday, they attended Elevate Hope Foundation’s Bowling For The Arts “Celebrity Games” 2007.

permalink Saturday, September 29, 2007 Hayden Panettiere Gets Political
In a day and age when the young adult population is vastly underrepresented, stars like Hayden Panettiere are pulling out all the stops in an effort to motivate their peers to vote. The Heroes hottie was spotted at Norman Lear’s Declare Yourself party last night at the Beverly Hills Cultural Center. And the night was filled with celebrity political fun. posted by Kayla at 04:45 AM | (0) comments |

Coffsee comments on: Adam Lambert Lands at LAX, Turns Down Guy Kiss The reason Adam Lambert’s album is selling so well - he has fans and talent.
The reason the “winner’s” album is not selling? Apparently Arkansas was willing to vote over and over and over and over for him because he was born there. But, they truly don’t like his music and are not purchasing his records. It was a false win. The album sales prove it. End.Of.Story. Beauty comments on: Adam Lambert Lands at LAX, Turns Down Guy Kiss @Jill(?)
I truly suggest that you point your head in whatever book you receive your spiritual teachings from and draw from its most positive and inspiring teachings and spread THAT around, instead of consciously trolling sites for content that offends you and then offending everyone else with with your “hate speech”! You gotta ask yourself, “WWJD”? Beauty comments on: Adam Lambert Lands at LAX, Turns Down Guy Kiss Apparently, Kris Allen’s fans were only concerned with selfeshly getting their “values vote” on and therefore unconcerned with leading a very talented and humble contestant hopeful to believe that HE was actually America’s choice and that HIS music was what the MAJORITY of “American Idol“‘s viewers / America’s citizentry wanted to hear. I think it is sad and repulsive that the conservative, religious movement USED Kris Allen to prove a point and then added insult to injury by not feeling just as compelled to back up their “smack” by going out and purchasing his project. I think it’s called HYPOCRISY when you say you want something, but you can’t have it because no one’s offering it, but when it is offered , you choose to take it - “didn’t you know?” |
