Fame usually comes with a price.  Usually it’s privacy.  And for R&B singer Rihanna, her family life has been made public.

The Barbados-born 19-year-old has come out about her tumultuous home life growing up.  She reports that her mom and dad were constantly fighting over her dad’s drug habit.

But Rihanna seems grateful for the added security.  “I just found out from a mutual friend that guys will talk to Jay first before they try to approach me, he’s very protective.”

Pop singer Rihanna is a beautiful woman, no doubt.  But now she has an award to prove it.  Proctor and Gamble’s new shaving razor Venus Breeze has given the songstress the title of “Celebrity Legs of a Goddess.”

Rihanna has been all over the music scene in recent years.  She just released her highly anticipated third album, “Good Girl Gone Bad” and it’s already at the top of the charts.

Rihanna Wants To Be Healthy, Not Skinny

Rihanna and carbohydrates don’t get along all that well. The singer, who showed off her toned body at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards, recently told People magazine what it took to achieve her new look.

The Umbrella singer said, “I like carbs but at the end of the day, carbs are the enemy.” Along with a no-carbs diet, Rihanna also admitted that she has to work hard to maintain her body.

As with every red carpet event, there are a select few that steal the flashes of the cameras from the star-studded field of A-list celebrities.  With Paris Hilton going to jail by Tuesday night at the latest, the number of camera flashes going off as she exited the car would blind most.  To Paris’ credit, she has been looking rather fit lately due to extensive personal trainer workouts over the past couple weeks.
