With the seventh season of 24 about to begin filming, Elisha Cuthbert is indulging rumors that a 24 movie may be in the works.

The Captivity actress is hinting to press that the proposed movie may begin production as early as next year, when shooting for season 7 wraps.  “I’ve got the phone waiting by the bed, and I’m just sort of waiting for it to ring and them to tell me ‘hey, we’re gonna go do the movie,’” she told press.

Canadian-born actress Elisha Cuthbert left her mark at the Planet Hollywood restaurant in New York City, getting her handprints cemented in history. Besides the handprinting, Miss Cuthbert was promoting her new movie, Captivity, which comes to theaters July 13.

“It’s kind of surreal!” Elisha told OK! after completing the mess of a process. “You see big celebrities doing these sort of things, and I guess you never think about yourself doing it. They had to sort of assist me on that. But it was great. What an honor.”

According to Stephen Rea of the Philadelphia Enquirer, “When posters for the forthcoming ’Captivity,’ in which Elisha Cuthbert stars as a young woman imprisoned, tormented and tortured, were slapped on bus shelters around L.A., there was a public uproar. One ad sheet, titled ‘TORTURE,’ showed Cuthbert with tubes stuck up her nose, draining blood.”
