Madonna will embark on a 14-city Re-Invention Tour beginning May 24 in Los Angeles. The tour - which will also include stops in New York City, London and Paris - will feature songs from her entire career.

No matter what you call her, when Madonna hits the road this Spring for her first tour since 2001’s Drowned World Tour, you can expect an evening of high energy entertainment!

According to latest press release Madonna will kick of her World Tour 2004 on June 1 in San Francisco and will continue to play arenas in 32 US markets, followed by performances in 12-15 European markets as well as four dates in Israel.

The U.S. leg of the tour goes on sale nationally in March 2004.

Paris Hilton tops Blackwell’s WORST Dressed list

You’d think with all that money she’d be at the top of the best dressed list, but no way.. not our socialite. She likes to bare it all, dress sleezy and flaunt all she’s got.

Mr. Blackwell, chronicler of clothing catastrophes, poked fun at socialite-reality TV star Paris Hilton Tuesday for committing the worst fashion follies of the past year.

“Paris came up shining with a big spotlight saying, `Pick me!’ She was just the most natural contender to make No. 1 this year.”

She does everything she can to be outrageous, everything she can to be over the top, everything she can to be too much and she succeeded and what she got from it was a great TV show”

Madonna and Britney Spears “kissin’ cousins of couture crime” were tied for second place, followed by Shania Twain (country-fried kitsch), Diane Keaton, Jessica Simpson, Celine Dion (half-sequined scarecrow, half-gaudy acrobat), Missy Elliott, Melanie Griffith, Courtney Love (torrid temptress of fashion) and Lara Flynn Boyle.

On the positive side, Blackwell praised Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Garner, Diane Lane, Salma Hayek, Oprah Winfrey, Katie Holmes, Tippi Hedren, Beyonce, Faith Hill, Sarah Jessica Parker and the Countess of Wessex, the former Sophie Rhys-Jones, as “Fabulous Fashion Independents for 2003.” [read more at ABC News via AP]

Madonna Endorses Wesley Clark For President

Madonna has never aligned herself with a presidential candidate during the primary season. But because “the stakes are just too high” right now, the artist says she is throwing her support behind General Wesley Clark in the 2004 race. A spokesperson would not confirm reports that Madonna will host an upcoming fundraiser for Clark in her Los Angeles home.

In a statement, she notes that she has looked at all the Democratic candidates. “ I respect them all for their dedication and patriotism,” she explains. “But I’m supporting Wes Clark because in him I see the qualifications, character and vision that we so desperately need.”

The singer/author explains that this is something she must do—as a concerned mother, American citizen and celebrity. “I want my children to grow up with the same opportunities that I had—to know and understand what’s going on in the world and to travel that world safely and with pride,” she says.

She continues, “Thankfully, we have a candidate running for President who is committed to ensuring that our country lives up to its promise and its people. Wes Clark is a decorated soldier and a respected diplomatic leader who has already given 34 years to his country. He is smart and he is good. He has worked hard to get where he is and he is a national hero. A perfect example of the American Dream.”

“If it helps, spread this message on to everyone you know,” she says in conclusion. “My opinions have made news before. Let’s make some news in 2004.” more..
