Sunday, July 08, 2007 Live Earth: Al Gore’s Global Party
As reported previously by the Gossip Girls, the series of Live Earth concerts across seven continents got started off with a bang yesterday (July 7). Just 24 hours later, the global party has come to an end - but the hope is that the event’s message will live on for quite some time to come. Live Earth was organized by former Vice President Al Gore with the goal of raising awareness about global warming. With over 100 musical acts joining in on the cause, the entertainers played to the crowds - with many offering up messages to the over 2 billion people expected to experience the shows through television, radio and the Internet. posted by at 10:41 AM | (1) comments |

Being blessed with great proportions of wealth, some celebrities are known to leave BIG tips for waiters and waitresses to thank them for their service. Apparently, that isn’t the case for Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna and a slew of other Hollywood A-listers. Or so says Katherine Taylor’s new book ‘Rules for Saying Goodbye,’ in which her heroine of the same name is a barmaid. posted by Kayla at 03:12 PM | (0) comments |

It can be intimidating for new mothers these days. In addition to the whole new world of taking care of a newborn and maintaining a family, there is this emerging phenomenon of “have it all” mothers in Hollywood. Every time you turn on the television or hop on the Internet there are constant images of celebrity children (both biological and adopted) alongside their enormously successful movie star moms. Gwyneth Paltrow, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes and Gwen Stefani top the list of celeb mommies that appear to have paired career success with motherhood. On the other side of that coin are experts that say that such a perception is unrealistic. posted by Kayla at 02:08 PM | (0) comments |

I don’t get why some tabloids choose to pull all the not so good pics when they don’t treat other celebs the same way.. These are very nice pics. Job well done in choosing these pics for your site. She is a stunner for sure & dressed down suits her best. Viki comments on: Colin Farrell’s Romantic Mexican Getaway Exactly, her name is Alicja Bachleda, not Bachieda!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t think the cast could get any hotter. Tiger comments on: Natalie Portman: Gotham Gorgeous Natalie Portman looks so pretty! I can’t wait to see Brothers. It comes out on Friday. David Letterman said its the best movie in the past 20 years or something… Don comments on: Tiger Woods Accident Update Tiger Woods was unconscious for 6 minutes and incoherent at the scene. This may be a much more serious head injury than we are being lead to believe. As a doctor I cant believe he wasnt kept at the hospital longer for observation. He has not been seen or heard since except on his website, and those statements sound like lawyer or agent crap. I worry about his mental status from the head injury and worry about who is medically caring for him? The bloggers think he is making decisions based on a normal mental status and that may not be the case. Canceling all his activities this month suggests to me he is not mentally or physically right after the accident and these may not have been “minor injuries”. |
