Amy Winehouse Calls It Quits - For Rehab

In a move that has most people scratching their heads, Amy Winehouse and husband Blake Fielder-Civil abandoned their stay in a drug addiction rehabilitation center after only 48 hours.

It’s not clear exactly why they thought it was a good idea to leave so soon, but late Tuesday night there was a helicopter waiting to pick up the pair and take them from the Essex facility back to London.

Amy Winehouse Overdoses, But No Rehab

This is getting a little excessive.  With all of her substance abuse problems culminating in an August 8th overdose/hospitalization, Amy Winehouse insists that she won’t go to rehab.

And her friends are worried about her.  “Amy is determined that she will not go to rehab. She has no idea how close she came to dying. She has barely eaten anything and keeps being sick. She is in an incredibly fragile state, both physically and mentally.”

Amy Winehouse’s Pilgrimage To Miami

The United States of America seems to be the new hot spot for British celebrities.  First, we saw David and Victoria Beckham move stateside last month.  And now there are reports that Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil will be making their home in Miami.

The Rehab singer began her love affair with the beautiful Florida city back in May, when she was married there.  And some claim it goes even further back than that.

Amy Winehouse’s Dad; Grandfather Plans

With all the erratic and unpredictable behavior coming from Amy Winehouse as of late, it’s hard to imagine her being a mother.  But her father is already talking about wanting grandkids.

Given her marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil earlier this year, Amy’s dad is set to become a grandfather.  He says that the 23-year-old and her hubby are already talking about children.

More Touring For Amy Winehouse

Despite her recent live show woes, Amy Winehouse has just announced that she’ll be returning to the UK stage later this year for a string of dates from mid-November to early December.

You may remember the frequent concert cancellations earlier this month, due to “exhaustion” and the ex-boyfriend heckler she dealt with days ago.  But after a brief speed bump in her career, Winehouse is planning to once again bring her A-game.
