Amy Winehouse Hopes Beach Will Chase Away Her Blues

When the going gets tough, the tough go to the beach.  And Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil have taken a break from reality (hopefully chemical-free) and hopped a flight to the Caribbean.

The scene in England was getting much too hot for the troubled singer.  First her father-in-law told press that she was going to be the next Sid and Nancy story.  And then he called for a boycott of her records until she got her drug program under control.  Classy.

Amy Winehouse Headed For Typical Rock & Roll Tragedy

Back in the 1970s, there was an English band called the Sex Pistols.  Tragically, their bassist Sid Vicious and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen became addicted to heroin and died due to an overdose.  And Amy Winehouse’s father-in-law fears that his son and daughter-in-law may be headed down the same path.

After duking it out with her husband a few short days ago, Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil were spotted strolling around Covent Garden on Saturday (August 25).

Since the couple scratched and clawed at one another at the Sanderson Hotel in Central London this past Thursday, reports from a Gatecrasher source add more confirmation to what we all now know - Amy has a serious drug problem.

In Celebrity Domestic Violence news, Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil appear to be in a bit of a pickle.  While they’re supposed to be in rehab taking care of their substance abuse problems, they’ve decided instead to beat the crap out of each other.

Apparently these two drug-addicted rehab-fleeing lovers had a spat early in the morning Thursday.  And a witness says it was quite the scene, as the Rehab singer ran away from her hubby.  “She was 200 yards in front. He was yelling her name. The road got to a bend and she ran around it.”

Amy Winehouse Fans Out Of Luck

If you were hoping to see Amy Winehouse on tour this month or next, this news will certainly not brighten your day.  She has postponed all of her August and September dates in the US and Canada.

The Rehab singer is, once again, blaming exhaustion for the interruption in her touring schedule.  And her broken record response is starting to fall on deaf ears.
