Aaron Carter Jailed For Drug Possession

While his older brother was busy entertaining fans in Australia, former child star Aaron Carter was spending a night behind bars after being caught with more than two ounces of marijuana.

According to press reports, “The younger brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick was pulled over last night for speeding by cops in Kimble County, Texas.”

Lohan and Duff: Friends Once More!

Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff have decided to put a 5-year-old dispute behind them, becoming amigos once more. The cause of the rift between the two starlets back in 2002 just so happened to be Aaron Carter.

Duff has appropriately called the dispute “silly” and has decided to end it, going back to being friends with LiLo.

Duff said: “We are both adults and whatever happened, happened when we were young. It’s over.”

House of Carters - Entertaining & Heart Wrenching

Okay, despite my initial resistance, I watched the premiere episode of the House of Carters tonight.  It was entertaining and heart wrenching.

Like fame, controversy has followed Nick and Aaron Carter and their three sisters. Now they’re getting a second chance to put family first. Can the Carters put their rocky pasts behind them and come together as a family? Watch the entire full hour premiere episode right now online.

ps. The Paris Hilton incident cracked me up. Looks like the Kari Ann Peniche thing isn’t the first time Aaron Carter picked up the pieces of his brother’s failed relationships!

Aaron Carter is Single Again (That Was Quick!)

The tweens of America can breathe a sigh of relief this evening. Aaron Carter is not getting married.

“I got caught up in the moment and proposed. I then realized it was a hasty thing to do and I am not ready for marriage quite yet.”

So what about Kari Ann Peniche? Who knows but she’s deleted her MySpace so I guess she’s gone into seclusion for a bit. 

“They are just going to be friends now. She still wants to keep dating him but Aaron is not quite sure. He was trying to appease her but came to his senses and realized it was the wrong thing to do.”

Aaron Carter to Marry Playboy Playmate… Oh Aaron!

What? Who? Where? All the “tweens” in America are confused and wondering what just hit them. They’re sweet little Aaron Carter is going to marry a girl who posed nude in Playboy? Oh say it isn’t so. Guess since he’s 18 and all.. he’s all grown up now.  Well, it all happened in Las Vegas…

Aaron Carter has proposed to his girlfriend, who happens to be an ex-girlfriend of his brother, Nick Carter. (Ewww, sloppy seconds!)

The “girl” is Kari Ann Peniche.. a name I never heard of before today.  She was a teen beauty queen—Miss United States Teen 2003 (Never heard of that pageant either) who was stripped of her title for stripping off her clothes.  She has a MySpace that’s been “sanitized” for now, but you know we love Google and it’s cache.. so you can see it in all it’s glory here. Can’t hide from Google honey!!!

Seems the romance between the two is so new that even big daddy Carter isn’t sure what’s going on.  “I heard he got married, then I heard he only got engaged. I don’t have a clue.” Papa Carter also said that the couple “just started dating. Even my daughters don’t know what’s going on.” Lovely, just lovely.. there is such a rock solid foundation to this lovely marriage.

Now, not that these two items have anything in common, but you do know that the Carter clan is staring in an E! TV series, right?  It’s called House of Carters, featuring Aaron, older brother Nick, twin sister Angel, and sisters Bobbie Jean and Leslie which premieres Oct. 2nd.  Some are calling the engagement a publicity stunt to get attention for the show, but honestly what’s left of Aaron’s fan base are female teenagers.. why would he want to alienate his only niche viewers by getting hitched? Guess he didn’t think this all the way through.
