When all the glitz and glamor die down, what’s left is what’s important.  Family and friends help make life wonderful.  For Heidi Klum, who turns 34-years-old today, it’s all about spending time with her husband, Seal, and their kids.

The German supermodel has two sons, Henry and Johan, by her husband.  She also has a daughter, Leni, from her past relationship with Flavio Briatore.  And she enjoys talking about all the time they spend together.

Nicknames can be fun. We nickname our cars, our significant others, our breasts…wait a sec… breasts?  According to Heidi Klum, two of her best assets have proper names.  And they are in honor of her homeland.

Heidi Klum’s breasts are nicknamed “Hans” and “Franz” in honor of her German heritage.  She said: “They’ve been an ongoing joke for, like, 12 years. It started because I was from Germany, and people always make fun of ze Germans, yah? So when I began modeling, I used to say, ‘These are German breasts, one is called Hans and one is called Franz.’ “

Jordache Says Bye Bye to Elizabeth Hurley

If you’ve been digging on the new Jordache ads featuring British actress Elizabeth Hurley, grab a tissue.  She’s just been dumped from the company’s add campaign.  And guess who’s replacing her?  Former Victoria’s Secret model Heidi Klum. 

This announcement comes at a bad time for Hurley.  She has also been dropped from fashion label Monsoon’s ad campaign, in favor of a younger model.  The $2 million contract Hurley had with Monsoon will not be renewed because of poor sales that dominated the firm’s accounts, despite their “Create A Storm” ad campaign.

Celebrity Mothers Set The Bar High

It can be intimidating for new mothers these days.  In addition to the whole new world of taking care of a newborn and maintaining a family, there is this emerging phenomenon of “have it all” mothers in Hollywood.  Every time you turn on the television or hop on the Internet there are constant images of celebrity children (both biological and adopted) alongside their enormously successful movie star moms.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes and Gwen Stefani top the list of celeb mommies that appear to have paired career success with motherhood. On the other side of that coin are experts that say that such a perception is unrealistic. 

Heidi Klum and Seal: Family Beach Day

Heidi Klum and Seal packed up the family for a day at the beach in LA. The couple sure have their hands full, but seem to be doing a tremendous job.

Klum’s daughter, Helene “Leni” Klum, turns 3-years old on Friday (May 4), which may have been the cause for the festivities. Leni’s paternal father is Heidi’s former boyfriend and Formula One manager, Flavio Briatore.
