Ashlee Simpson Poised to Unveil Vicky Valentine

In this crazy world we call showbusiness, there are a lot of egos floating around.  In addition, many of the artists rely on alter egos to diversify their art.  In the case of Ashlee Simpson, her wild side has a name, and that name is Vicky Valentine.

This past weekend in Las Vegas, the “Pieces of Me” singer was partying it up and let MTV have a sneak peek of a few tracks from her new album, due out in November.  And from the sound of it, she’s exploring a whole new world, sonically.  “You will know when Vicky is in the room!” she explained.

Pete Wentz Sets The Record Straight

With all of the collaborations going on in the music world, it’s hard to keep track of who’s working with whom.  And Pete Wentz is trying to make sure that things don’t get too mixed up.

Wentz’s girlfriend Ashlee Simpson was said to have worked on a track with Fall Out Boy, but Pete says that isn’t the case.  FOB’s singer Patrick Stump was rumored to have worked on a song with Simpson that was written by Cobra Sharship’s Victoria Asher.

Amid rumors of infidelity, and the fact that rock stars always have women falling all over them, singer Ashlee Simpson has implemented a “no pictures” policy for female fans of her man, Pete Wentz.

The most recent example of the “Pieces of Me” singer’s control was last weekend in Chicago.  A bunch of hot-looking groupies were hounding the Fall Out Boy for a quick snapshot, when Ashlee said enough was enough.

FOB’s Pete Wentz Talks Depression

In the “Emo” music scene, the more real singers get with emotion, the deeper they connect with their teenage fanbase.  And Fall Out Boy bassist/lyricist Pete Wentz confessed that his battle with Depression has affected his life considerably.

The boyfriend of Ashlee Simpson came clean about his bipolar disorder recently.  He told press, “I have manic depression. I obsess over everything. When I am depressed, I can’t get out of bed.  But right now, it’s sunny and 65 in my head, so it’s OK!”
