2008 MTV Video Music Awards Big Winners
It was yet another remarkable and memorable year of performances, comedy, and fashion as the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards took over Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California tonight (September 7).
With “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” stud Russell Brand at the helm, we saw amazing performances by Rihanna, Paramore, Kanye West, Christina Aguilera, Kid Rock, and Katy Perry, to name a few.

She may be getting further along in her pregnancy term, but Ashlee Simpson isn’t going to let it keep her down. The “La La” songstress was spotted out in Los Angeles doing a little solo shopping yesterday (August 28).
Rocking a black maternity tank top with a matching scarf, relaxed fit jeans, and a pair of black flip flops, the “Pieces of Me” singer carried a big white shopping bag full of purchases to her car.

Donald Trump Throws Stylish A-List Party
The A-listers were out in full force on Saturday night, attending an exclusive party to launch the Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai thrown by Donald Trump and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem at a private estate in Bel-Air.
Joining the real estate mogul were stars such as Heroes hotties Hayden Panettiere and Ali Larter, along with Orlando Bloom, Hilary Swank, Lucy Liu and Kate Walsh, among others.

Teaming up for MTV, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were on-hand as hosts at a live taping of FNMTV at Ren-Mar Studios in Hollywood on Friday (August 1).
The expecting parents mingled backstage with the night’s performer, Miley Cyrus, before heading out and introducing the “Hannah Montana” starlet to the crowd.

It was an early morning wakeup for Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz, as the newlyweds were spotted out for breakfast in Los Angeles on Friday (July 25).
After ordering up donuts and juice, the Fall Out Boy bassist switched things up from the norm - letting his pregnant “Outta My Head” singing wife shield him from paparazzi rather than the other way around.
