On a rather quiet Friday night in Hollywood, the seemingly lone movie event took place at Arclight Cinemas for a showing of Southland Tales. The film’s stars, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Dwayne Johnson and Cheri Oteri, showed up at the Hollywood spot for the AFI Fest screening presented by Audi. posted by Kayla at 06:44 PM | (0) comments |
permalink Thursday, September 27, 2007 Us Hot Hollywood Party Brings Out The Stars
It’s always an interesting occasion when Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag end up at the same place. And that’s exactly what happened last night, as the bickering stars from The Hills were among a celeb-filled crowd at the 2007 version of Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood Party. Speaking to press, Lauren shrugged off the ongoing feud with Heidi and her boyfriend Spencer Pratt, saying, “We just don’t talk. I don’t talk about her. People make more of it than it is.” True to her word, LC and Heidi kept their distance at the Opera nightclub party. posted by at 11:53 AM | (0) comments |

It’s finally here… Fashion Week in New York City. And Parisian jewelry designer Van Cleef & Arpels made the most of the opening night with an event that got everyone talking. The century-old designer (they were founded in 1906) used Fashion Week to unveil some of their one-of-a-kind pieces that were inspired by sketches from back in the day that they found in their archives. posted by at 09:46 AM | (0) comments |
permalink Sunday, August 05, 2007 Sarah Michelle Gellar Likes The Simple Life
Handling stardom at a young age can be a difficult task. Just ask Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. Meanwhile, Sarah Michelle Gellar stands out as an example of a child star who has managed her success with grace and professionalism. Gellar, who grew up with a role on the popular TV series All My Children, claims that her busy Hollywood schedule actually steered her away from the troubles that plague so many of Tinseltown’s youngsters. “You don’t party when you’re on a TV show. You got to bed for 10 hours and you learn your lines,” she said. posted by at 12:49 PM | (0) comments |

Jo comments on: Halle Berry: Vampire Vixen I love Halle’s tshirt! Does anyone know where to find it? I just bought a swarovski encrusted tshirt at a Twilight convention and it rocks!
here’s where I got mine:
Where can I get Halle’s? Does anyone know? Walker comments on: Reese Witherspoon Fights Domestic Violence in the UK Good for her. I feel like domestic violence is the red-headed step-child of violence issues. It’s easy to speak out against government-induced famine, or wars that kill civilians, or rape. But domestic violence is a very sensitive issue because it is so common! I’m glad Reese is getting people talking. Another voice brave enough to speak on domestic violence is that of Marala Scott, author of the book, “In Our House: Perception vs. Reality.” She is specifically interested in the “Indicators of an Abuser,” a tool she developed to help people recognize patterns in others (or in themselves) that might signify abusive tendencies in the future. Really fascinating stuff, that - you can see them here. Keep up the good work, Reese! Douglas Harnett comments on: Lindsay Lohan: Seeing Kevin Connolly? linsay just needs to leave that loser kevin connolly and come to me with her sexy a** N.J. comments on: Adam Lambert: More Cancellations ABC is really showing their true colors right now… They invited Adam Lambert to do the closing numer on that awards show, they WANTED it to be racy and risky and announced the “Shocking” performance a dozen times throughout the show. And now that the’ve used him to garner ratings they throw him under the bus??? This has nothing to do with his performance, this is a witch hunt. Nothing else! And just because Adam Lambert is gay nobody dares to speak up… it’s disgusting.
These are not the “values” I want my children to learn, I will no longer allow them to watch ABC or any affiliated companies.
Evey comments on: Orlando Bloom: Vdara Hotel Hunk We’ve heard these same stories about this guy when he was seeing a past girlfriend. I wish you guys would try to use your imaginations and think up better stories. Next week you’ll be claiming Miranda is shopping for a wedding dress. And then that she and Orlando were looking at rings. Just like before. It’s so predictable, it’s boring. Anna comments on: Keira Knightley Continues Work on "The Misanthrope" I love this girl. She is so talented and gorgeous. I wish her all the best with the play, I’m sure she’ll be great! |
