Orlando Bloom Thanks His Lucky Stars

As a follow up to the story we ran last month about Orlando Bloom’s late-night paparazzi-induced car crash, the Englishman opened up to Larry King on his talk show recently.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor told King that even though one of his friends suffered a fractured neck as a result of the accident, he feels lucky that emergency services reacted so quickly.

It’s a phenomenon that will never make sense, but for some reason celebrities love to break the law when there are ample cameras documenting their every move.  The latest case involves Orlando Bloom in a possible hit and run.

Last Friday, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor was out for a spin in his friend’s black Toyota Matrix when he collided with a Porsche Cayenne around 2:15 am.  And the paparazzi were in full force, obtaining footage of the incident.

Orlando Bloom was involved in a Hollywood fender bender early Friday morning, according to recent police reports.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was “driving alone on Fountain Avenue when another vehicle cut him off and he hit a parked car,” said Officer Ana Aguirre.

According to Cosmopolitan Magazine, Orlando Bloom is the most desirable date in Britian… period.  They did a survey of their readers and put out the “Eligible Eleven” list based on their responses.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor received 21% of the total vote, a feat not easliy accomplished.  When you consider that Princes William and Harry were in the running, it’s nothing short of amazing that Bloom came out on top.
