permalink Tuesday, July 24, 2007 Kelly Clarkson Swallows Her Pride
In the music industry there are so many egos, it’s hard to find the people attached to them. But Kelly Clarkson is now looking beyond her pride to make peace with one of the men responsible for her fame as a recording artist. In the well-publicized feud between Clarkson and record executive Clive Davis, harsh words were spoken from both sides. Whether it was Davis saying that Clarkson should leave the songwriting up to songwriters, or Clarkson poking fun at Davis’ age/relevance to the music scene, it was getting pretty ugly. posted by Kayla at 08:39 AM | (0) comments |

In the realm of Clive Davis’ biting remarks about Kelly Clarkson and her new album, “My December,” Kelly has remained remarkably silent. But that’s all about to change, because she’s finally speaking her mind. She recently told press how she felt about Davis’ criticism. “I don’t know you very well, and I am not a bull-[bleep]er. I get [that] you don’t like the album. You’re 80; you’re not supposed to like my album.” posted by at 08:19 AM | (0) comments |
permalink Sunday, July 08, 2007 Live Earth: Al Gore’s Global Party
As reported previously by the Gossip Girls, the series of Live Earth concerts across seven continents got started off with a bang yesterday (July 7). Just 24 hours later, the global party has come to an end - but the hope is that the event’s message will live on for quite some time to come. Live Earth was organized by former Vice President Al Gore with the goal of raising awareness about global warming. With over 100 musical acts joining in on the cause, the entertainers played to the crowds - with many offering up messages to the over 2 billion people expected to experience the shows through television, radio and the Internet. posted by at 09:41 AM | (1) comments |
