Beyonce and Jay-Z Pick Up Rihanna for Trio

The powerhouse R&B duo of Jay-Z and Beyonce is about to get a boost of star power.  That’s right, the happy couple has invited a third party to join forces with them to dominate the airwaves.  And that third party is none other than singer Rihanna.

“We’re not sure yet whether it’ll be a new track or a (remix) of one from (Rihanna’s new album) Good Girl Gone Bad,” leaked a label rep.

As Jay-Z keeps getting older and older, friends and fans have been busy speculating on when he will finally marry and start a family with longtime girlfriend Beyoncé Knowles.

While an engagement has already been said to have occurred (with no confirmation, of course) - it looks like Jay, whose real name is Sean Carter, is just gonna have to wait for his little H.O.V.A.

Jay-Z Short on Cash?

Waitressing can be hard work.  The long hours and rude customers can make the job grueling.  The only reward is the decent money.  But one waitress isn’t even getting that.  Celeste Williams has filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z for not paying her for working in his club.

Williams is a waitress at Jay-Z’s trendy 4-0/40 Club.  She is alleging that he has been violating the federal labor laws by making her work for only tips.  She filed the class-action suit in Manhattan Federal Court.

Beyoncé Best For BET Awards

With all of her enterprises looking good, Beyoncé is set to compete in six categories in the Black Entertainment Television Awards.  She has the most nominations for awards such as best female R&B artist, video of the year, and best collaboration with her boy Jay-Z.

Her collaboration with Shakira, “Beautiful Liar,” was also nominated for video of the year. Other nominees in that category are Akon featuring Snoop Dogg for “I Wanna Love You,” Ciara’s “Like a Boy” and Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy.” Talk about fierce competition.

Boxing Brings Out the Stars

The Las Vegas boxing match on Saturday night brought out the stars, as some of the silver screen’s biggest hitters turned out in droves.

According to Hello!, “A proud Jennifer Lopez looked on as her husband Marc Anthony sang the American anthem while Jim Carrey and girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio and John Cusack took up their seats at the MGM Grand.”
