Beyonce Cheers on Sister Solange

Usually when she shows up at a big music festival, she’s the main event.  But yesterday (August 21) Beyonce Knowles was only in the house to cheer on her sister and a close friend.

The “Irreplaceable” songstress was spotted along with her husband Jay-Z at J&R’s MusicFest Concert Series in City Hall Park in New York City cheering on her sister Solange Knowles as well as former Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams.

Whenever they’re in New York City, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z like to experience the finer things the city has to offer.  And last night it seems they were in the mood for cuisine from the Waverly Inn.

The “Bootylicious” babe and her “99 Problems” beau were spotted on their way out of the swanky West Village restaurant as they were greeted by the waiting paparazzi.

Teaming up for a good cause, Rihanna and Jay-Z were among the performers on hand in Abuja to kick off the Thisday Music and Fashion Festival on Friday night (July 11).

Hitting the stage as the opening act, Rihanna treated the fans to a rendition of her first big hit, Pon de Replay, before working her way into Turn Me On Boy and Shut Up and Drive.
