Reese Witherspoon Opens Up About Divorce

Reese Witherspoon’s usually a really shy, private woman.  But in a recent interview, the Sweet Home Alabama actress shared some of the pain that she was feeling after her split from ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

She told press, “Right around Christmastime I was sitting in a parking lot and I felt like I just couldn’t get out of the car.  It was like, I can’t get out of the car.  I thought, Okay, half of the parking lot has dealt with this. More than half of the parking lot has dealt with this.  Okay, let’s make it a little bigger. Half of this city has dealt with this. Okay, let’s make it a little bigger – half of this country, until I finally got out of the car.”

When you reach a certain level of fame and fortune, it’s time to try new things.  And for Ryan Phillippe, “new things” looks like a career change… perhaps teaching.

The Antitrust actor said that he has grown tired of the constant paparazzi attention, especially after his split from actress/ex-wife Reese Witherspoon.  He said he may quit his acting career to become a teacher.

While their divorce was kinda messy, at least Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are able to put aside their differences for the sake of their children.

The former couple attended their 3-year-old son’s school talent show recently.  Though there is bad blood and hurt feelings between the two actors, they made nice by both attending the event.

It’s Official: Reese and Jake Are No More

As all good things tend to do, Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon as a couple has come to an end.  It’s been a great three months, but these two are moving on.

And preliminary reports are that Reese is the one who did the dumping.  “Reese was the one who had to do it. She just got out of a divorce and was so concerned with her family, she just didn’t have the time for him and he really demanded that,” a souce close to the actress told press.

Ryan Phillippe Hooks Up With Britney Spears?

According to the latest rumors around town, Ryan Phillippe has just added another pop singer to his repertoire.  You may remember the Gossip Girls reporting on Ryan’s rendezvous with Ashlee Simpson earlier this year.  Now he’s apparently set his sights on fellow divorcee Britney Spears – who was spotted out showing off her bikini body in Marina del Ray yesterday (May 24).

It seems that the former Mr. Witherspoon has become enamored with the former Mrs K-Fed.  So much so, that he got down and dirty with her at a Hollywood club last week. “The talk of the clubbing crowd is Britney and Ryan are hooking up,” said a clubgoer. “It sure looked like it from the scene they put on at Les Deux last week. They were all over each other.”
