It looks like Katie Holmes needed a change of scenery.  She’s been spending tons of time in Western Europe, where her husband Tom Cruise has been filming “Valkyrie.” But yesterday the Dawson’s Creek cutie was in the Big Apple.

Katie wore a completely black ensemble, topped off by a trench coat and large purse.  Her big “movie star” sunglasses hid the eyes of the marathon runner.

TomKat Can’t Tell Suri “No”

This is bizarre.  According to Scientology, parents are supposed to always encourage their children rather than scold them.  And apparently for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, it means they rarely tell Suri “no.”

According to a source, “Tom and Katie have a hard time saying no to Suri. It’s all about being positive and supportive. Scientology advises parents to try to be the child’s friend. They don’t scold their children, but instead explain that bad behavior is the ‘wrong action’.”

Katie Holmes was spotted last night at Berlin’s Tempelhof airport, preparing to board a private plane.

Dressed in a gold babydoll dress, the Dawson’s Creek actress has been keeping busy while in Germany - which could end up becoming a longer stay than was first expected.

She’s been seen shopping all over Berlin while her husband Tom Cruise films Valkyrie.  But that’s not all Katie Holmes has been up to during her stay in Germany.

It seems that the “Disturbing Behavior” actress has a workout regimen with a lofty goal: to run the New York City Marathon.  It’s been a dream of hers since childhood, and she reportedly could be making that dream come true as early as next month.

Have you ever shown up to meet with friends, and realize that you’re wearing the same thing as someone else?  It looks like Katie Holmes is having one of those days herself, having dressed similarly to her shopping companion.

The mother-of-one is looking classic today in a white button-down blouse and knee-length skirt.  She was spotted at Armani Jr. earlier today with a shopping companion, also opting for the white top/black bottom look.
