Supermodel Gisele Bundchen was spotted making her way through New York City’s West Village after grabbing a bite to eat with a gal pal on Saturday.

But the lunch outing was merely a pre-game for the 27-year-old, as Gisele spent the evening cheering on boyfriend Tom Brady and his New England Patriots at Giants Stadium.

When it comes to cleaning up a polluted river, Gisele Bundchen prefers to use thongs… the flip-flop kind, that is.  She’s hocking $25-a-pair sandals and giving the proceeds to clean up the Xingu River, part of the Amazon River basin.

And the $35 million-dollar-a-year supermodel says that her desire to help was birthed before she was famous.  She told press, “I always wanted to visit the Amazon, and when there, I realized how dirty the water was and how it was affecting the health of kids, and just how everyone was living.’’

With all the celebrity activity in Australia, paparazzi are working harder than ever to get pics of your favorite stars.  This time around it was Gisele Bundchen, as she made her way to the land down under.

The Victoria’s Secret babe hopped a plane to Aussie land only to be greeted by a bevy of photogs trying to get a glimpse of the $37 million-a-year model.  Bundchen was looking stunning in, of all things, a tattered AC/DC t-shirt as she deplaned in Melbourne.
